Resistance. Liam & Suzanne wonder whether they hit a new low in this episode as they try and work out what Telerium is. They also talk about female anatomy and sexually frustrated make-up artists. Was this a right way, a wrong way, or a Janeway?
What to expect from episode 32: Talaxian Love Juices?
Liam and Suzanne talk about Resistance, a season 2 episode that, in the grand scheme of things, is utterly pointless. It does, however, have wonderful performances by Kate Mulgrew and Joel Gray as Janeway and Caylem, respectively.
Before we get started on the episode, we take aim at CBS/Paramount/whoever about their disaster of an international release of Star Trek: Discovery. That was a dumb way in our 100% correct opinion. We also have a little chit chat about Star Trek: Prodigy!
We realise the make up department of Star Trek: Voyager are definitely sexually frustrated individuals for providing the ‘alien of the week’ a little vagina on their nose. It is at this point that Liam confesses and becomes a self-proclaimed expert on female anatomy.
We also hit a new low in what we talk about. I suggest listening to the episode to find out.
A new ‘way’ appears!
We’ve had the right way. We’ve had the wrong way. We’ve have the Janeway. We’ve also had the dumb way. But now, ladies, gentlemen, and non-binary friends, we have the ‘weird way!’
The right way, the wrong way, or the Janeway?
Was playing along with Caylem’s confusion and pretending to be Rolkana a right way? Was the lip-smacking scene by Joel Gray the wrong way? Is there a Janeway decision in here somewhere. Have a listen to find out!
