              Star Trek Online

Tribbles In Ecstasy wants to wish Cryptic Developer H20rat a speedy recovery.  H20rat is the lead of Perfect World/Cryptic’s Video Department (The guy who makes the trailers and who’s been tasked to assess the Foundry) and he’s also the creator of the foundry mission, “rise of the phoenix”.

1. PvP Boot Camp Community Member Sargon Joins us today to talk about the PvP boot camp

2. STO Gateway is Now Available As revealed in this Dev Blog, this new feature allows players to remotely access their in-game status information via their desktop, tablet, or smartphone.
3. The trouble with epohhs Can one have too many epohhs? At first I didn’t think so but after spending 1 week digging in the snow of Q’s winter wonderland I’m no longer sure.

4. Our Featured Project wish list Often you hear some of our panelists express the opinion that the featured projects aren’t worth the cost of dilithium required to complete them.  Today we go over some of their ideas of what a project would need to offer in order to get them to hand over their dilithium.

Star Trekkin’

1. Who is John Harrison? Paramount Pictures has just released a new image from Star Trek Into Darkness. The picture depicts Chris Pine as Kirk and Zachary Quinto as Spock engaged in an apparently heated conversation with the character played by Benedict Cumberbatch. That character is seen in what appears to be a brig/holding cell and, according to the caption provided by Paramount, the character is named “John Harrison”.

2. Alice Eve’s Character + 7 More Star Trek Into Darkness Spoilers Revealed Star Trek Into Darkness producer/director JJ Abrams invited the press to visit Bad Robot HQ. While there the media could chat with folks behind and in front of the camera as well as get a closer look at elements of the movie. During the day TrekMovie picked up on a number of new character and story tidbits.

Now for something completely different

1. The New Man of Steel Trailer is Now Online! Following the viral countdown, Warner Bros. Pictures has now revealed the new trailer for Zack Snyder’s Superman movie, Man of Steel.

2. ‘Doctor Who’ 2012 Christmas Special Images; New Tardis & Ian McKellen Guest Stars Doctor Who fans are in for an extra special treat this holiday season in the form of Sir Ian McKellen (The Hobbit and (maybe) X-Men: Days of Future Past) who was recently announced as the voice of the main snowman in this year’s Christmas special. We’ll also get  a brand new look for the Tardis interior, which some say will reflect The Doctor’s new altered personality after losing his longtime companions Amy Pond (Karen Gillan) and Rory Williams (Arthur Darvill) in the previous episode
